I've started a new podcast called "The Silent Pen" which is available at http://thesilentpen.blogspot.com. It's a redevelopment of "The Would Be Writer." In The Silent Pen I'm covering writer's block and other similar things.

I'm doing it something like a commentary but removing the long pauses. For instance, the first episode took about fifteen minutes to record but runs about five. I hope to have them up on a weekly basis, though each episode may consist of many days of recording (edited down). It's too new to say exactly how it will work out.

Podcast Ping at http://podcastping.blogspot.com is doing well. I'm getting into a routine with it. The only difficulty is in putting enough material together for a themed show. I have plenty of material but I'm trying to make the poetry work with the music, and to make it all work together.

I've just added the latest episode of Podcast Ping over at podcastping.blogspot.com. While I'm a little slow at updating articles on this blog, I seem to be managing a regular posting for Podcast Ping so far.

I've also noticed that the subscription rate for The Would Be Writer at writerpatricksblog.blogspot.com has been increasing, despite my lack of attention to it lately. I have been pondering some ideas for it and may get back to it soon. But because of the way in which some directories work it's hard to get it listed properly. Some show it under The Would Be Writer while others show it under Writerpatrick's Blog. And thewouldbewriter.blogspot.com is owned by someone who set it up and lost interest, so I can't use that name. So if and when I get back to it, I may recreate it under a new name.
