While it doesn't even make it to 100 on the top 100 audio podcasts, Podcast Ping is currently ranked as the number 1 poetry podcast on Podcast Pickle. It just goes to show how far poetry has still to go to make it into mainstream attention. 

It's only recently that I took the top spot and any of the top three could easily have got it. One of them hasn't put out a podcast in a month. And there's no guarantee that over the next couple days that won't change, especially since I put my episodes out on Sundays and Tuesdays. But it's still nice to know I'm not wasting my time, especially since I'm going to have to write a lot of new poetry for next year.

Here's a couple pictures of this year's pumpkin. I've wanted to do a cat again for some time and decided to do one this year. I'm inclined to call this one "Pumpkin Moon" after the children's story.

I should have left a little more support at the bottom and top. Since I've done it a day early I hope it doesn't dry out and shink too much overnight.

I felt it was about time to redesign and reformat my webpage at www.geocities.com/writerpatrick. I've removed all the table formatting and simplified it's structure which makes it easier to edit.

One of the main changes, aside from the look, is the addition of a couple of players for my podcasts. I'm also reworking Bitty Browser but may have to make a feed for my blog to get it to work right. The old code got lost during the page editing but I didn't really care for it since it only showed headlines and not the stories.

I've still some work to do; for instance, I might do something else with the background. But it may take a while to make changes. I have a few things to work on.

And with Halloween being so close, I should have another pumpkin up soon. I still haven't decided on the design.
